Clothed Figures

In my nude figure work viewers are encouraged to become engaged in abstract concepts and ideas about human nature. The clothed model, however, offers a more literal statement about what we hold precious. I am inspired to draw and paint people in pursuit of there inner most dreams. Taking oneself to this state is to follow ones destiny. Capturing the joy in life is following mine. I am mesmerized by joy in all its most creative forms, whether it’s a musician, a singer, a dancer, or a child in costume or playing. These are the important moments of our lives and I love to document them. While the modern day world focuses on houses, brains and computers, I invite you to ask yourself what is important; what holds the most meaning in life? Is it a wallet and a brain, or a heart, love, passion, and joy?
