Margaret Ferraro Art Studio:

Artist, Margaret Ferraro, offers regular drawing classes for children of all ages. Weekly classes progress through a variety of exercises to improve visual analyzation and creative skills. One day workshops introduce students to a variety of new and familiar art materials, their properties and creative possibilities. One day workshops are available in:

• graphite and pencil,
• pencil crayon,
• oil and soft pastel,
• charcoal, etc.

Margaret has a permanent classroom set up in the basement of her home/studio. Located in Deerwood Estates, just off Panmure Rd., it is easily accessed from Hwy #17, approximately 15 minutes east of Arnprior, 20 minutes west of Kanata. Class sizes usually range from 5-10 students.

Margaret has been involved in artwork all her life. With a keen interest in drawing, Margaret spent many years as a textile designer and silk painter. She spent several more years owning and operating her own art gallery. Now painting in her home studio, Margaret would like to share her knowledge and skills with creatives of all ages. Working with small groups of individuals allows for every student to enter their own creative world and work at their own pace. She strives to provide a fun, nonjudgmental atmosphere that gives permission to children of all ages to be themselves, and allow it to come out in their own work.
